Never before have we had to deal with a problem that is this detrimental to society and lacks bipartisan support. The whole situation is a policy problem from hell, and in order to enact change, we need total support from pretty much everyone (the reason it’s really a problem).
I could go on about the semantics of the cause, who’s affected, and how to fix it. However, the last thing we need is someone else overcomplicating the problem until it’s impossible to grasp.
So with that said, here’s the problem (crisis) boiled down:
