4.15.24 Update – Introducing a New Idea for Climate Emergency Resilience:

4.15.24 Update:

I suggested creating a new group or unit entitled AI/Tech with part of the idea being to create an AI Climate Model (100% based on nothing but Climate, Resiliency and Adaptation Measures). It was thought to be a good idea by a few, however talking to a young women (I believe with Climate Reality) after Vice President Al Gore discussed ‘the dangers of technical optimism’ –meaning the belief that AI would solve all our climate problems.

The gist of our conversation (with this young women) was that my idea was not a good one based on this. The thing about this is that I never indicated this at all, in fact my contention is that AI could both enhance and give us different perspectives on solutions, nothing more and nothing less.  I am not naive to think this, however I do see clearly the benefits of having a climate-based AI Solutions Model.

By the way, in time I still plan on creating this model (standalone smaller AI climate based), and will test its effectiveness in time.

Good Morning (or afternoon/evening):

Today, we are excited to share an innovative idea that could benefit every village, city, state, and government in their efforts to address the Climate Emergency. This concept involves creating a unique customized AI model, tailored to the specific needs of each area. Let’s call it the GEAR (Green Emergency Adaptive Resiliency) model, for example.

We now have the capability to develop AI models that can run locally (offline) or on individual websites. The key challenge lies in training these models and determining the data needed to feed them. Fortunately, there are sources of Adaptive Resiliency data available. Climate Change Community LLC and the Scotland Library are just two examples of organizations possessing such data. Additionally, data can be collected or tailored to suit the needs of specific communities.

While AI technology has faced criticism for its energy consumption, advancements have been made to reduce its energy intensity, especially with the option to run it locally on personal computers or embedded on websites. However, the crucial factor remains obtaining the necessary data for training the AI model.

Our vision is to apply for grants to create this model, making it accessible to villages, towns, states, and cities for a nominal yearly fee, such as $99.99. Alternatively, we aim to assist communities in setting up their own models, allowing them to utilize their own datasets specific to their area, encompassing mitigation, adaptation, resilience methods, and climate-based scopes.

At Climate Change Community, our goal is not personal enrichment but rather to ensure a sustainable, habitable planet for future generations. We’re committed to exploring every avenue to make this vision a reality.

If you’re aware of any grants that could support our endeavor, please reach out to us at ccc@ourclimatehealth.com. We’re also open to discussing potential partnerships or collaborations. You can contact me directly at tito@ourclimatehealth.com to schedule a Zoom meeting.

Furthermore, it’s worth noting the remarkable advancements in AI technology, including new resources, APIs, improved dataset creation methods, and dynamic AI extensions for browsers, websites, and mobile devices.

Together, let’s work towards a cleaner, sustainable planet, free from the threat of extinction. Thank you for your support!

Warm regards,

cCc
