Dear readers,
I am excited to share some important updates with you. Over the years, I’ve accumulated over 600 blog posts in draft mode on this site, bringing the total number of posts to about 2,160. These drafts are already created but need some updates and, in some cases, featured images. Over the next few months, I’ll be re-editing and moving most of these drafts to published status. Some are personal thought pieces that I might either update and post or simply delete. Thank you for your patience as I work to get these posts ready for you to enjoy. Please note that I do not plan to add any new content during this time.
In addition to these updates, I’m thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our dynamic and amazing Climate and Ecological (Green) Community at Climate Change Community’s child site, Climate Tribe (climatetribe.com). We will be opening our doors to the public on November 5th, and I warmly invite you to consider joining us.
Climate Tribe is more than just a website—it’s a vibrant community dedicated to fostering discussions, sharing knowledge, and taking action on climate change and ecological sustainability. Some of the exciting features you can look forward to include:
- Private and Public Chat: Engage in meaningful conversations with like-minded individuals in both public forums and private groups.
- Mini-Communities: Participate in specialized groups where you can post articles and collaborate on projects.
- Green Tech Café: Explore the latest advancements in green technology and discuss their impact on our world.
- Sustainable Book Club Labs: Join our book club to read and discuss influential books on sustainability and environmental issues.
- Adaptive Resiliency Space: Collaborate on self-educating ourselves on adaptive strategies to build resilience in the face of climate change.
- Health and Diet Challenge Plan: Participate in our unique program aimed at transitioning to a more sustainable diet while improving our health.
We are also looking for both founding members and moderators to help shape and lead our community. If you’re passionate about climate action and sustainability, we’d love to have you on board. Please note that these subscriptions are based on approval by the host, so we encourage you to apply early.
I’m pleased to say that after resolving some issues—the site was compromised back in September 2023—the site is now better than ever. Your support has been invaluable during this time, and I can’t thank you enough for standing by us.
