“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” – Coretta Scott King
At the heart of Climate Tribe—a dedicated child-site of the larger Climate Change Community—is a bold and hopeful vision: to forge a Green Way Forward rooted in collaboration, education, and heartfelt global care.
For years now, I’ve immersed myself in thousands of articles about the climate crisis—and more importantly, the global conversations that follow them. But over time, something troubling has become painfully clear: many of these discussions quickly spiral into negativity, hopelessness, and even cruelty. Instead of promoting solutions, they too often become outlets for despair, division, or hate.
And while I’ve seen brilliant comments and inspiring ideas emerge in these threads, the overall tone often sinks low—discouraging real action. This is why we need not only a New Way Forward, but a Green Way Forward.
Introducing Climate Tribe
Climate Tribe exists to rewrite the narrative. This is not just another platform—it’s a community built on kindness, emotional intelligence, respect, and honest collaboration. If you’re curious about our purpose, I invite you to explore the many blog posts I’ve published at eXit235.com, which explain in detail how we can build something better—together.
Right now, we’re welcoming our first group of members, including prospective Founding Members, moderators, climate organizations, Climate Justice Advocates, and Climate Warriors. Our shared goal? To create a supportive, forward-thinking community that takes the Climate and Ecological (Green) Emergency seriously and responds with heart, clarity, and courage.
A Global Tribe, Rooted in Humanity
Our mission is to empower people across all continents through climate knowledge and shared purpose. Climate Tribe isn’t just about social networking—it’s about building an ecosystem of emotional and intellectual strength so that people and communities can thrive. Together, we aim to become more adaptive and resilient—what I call developing Adaptive Resiliency, from the standpoint of both self and collective preservation.
The manuscript I’ve been developing since 2016, as well as our Adaptive Resiliency mini-community, offer meaningful entry points for anyone interested in exploring these concepts more deeply. If you’re ready to engage, our Basic Plan is an excellent first step.
Our Community Goals:
-
Globally Network: Find and connect with others who share your values, your mission, and your vision for a better planet.
-
Learn Together or Alone: Whether through our Sustainable Book Club, thematic plans, or open discussions, our platform supports both self-paced learning and group dialogue.
-
Support Each Other: As we grow, we’ll launch a Member Support Fund for those impacted by climate disasters. We believe mutual aid is essential in these times.
-
Engage in Meaningful Dialogue: We encourage advanced listening skills and respectful, thoughtful conversation. This is key to policy design, educational programs, and adaptive projects.
-
Embrace AI: We see AI not as a savior, but as a supportive companion. By working alongside AI, we gain powerful tools to respond to climate challenges more intelligently and creatively.
Climate Tribe: A Safe Haven for Solutions
Today, much of the internet has become a battlefield of misinformation, sarcasm, and unhelpful noise. But Climate Tribe is different. We do not allow combative posts, trolling, or disinformation. We center respect, science, and sincere dialogue—because the Climate and Ecological (Green) Emergency is too urgent for anything less.
“In the fight for our planet, unity and truth are our most powerful tools.” — Eco-Conscious Leader
We vet every founding member, moderator, and contributor with care. Why? Because this platform is meant for serious people seeking to create real change—not just talk about it.
Not Just Another Social Network
Climate Tribe is not designed to compete with Facebook or X (formerly Twitter). Instead, it’s a purpose-built digital sanctuary where scientists, educators, artists, climate-minded citizens, and frontline workers can learn, lead, and inspire. Our platform evolves with its members—designed for depth, not popularity.
Calling All Climate Warriors
We welcome voices from all walks of life—including but not limited to:
-
Firefighters, nurses, and law enforcement officers
-
Teachers and infrastructure workers
-
Emergency services and frontline responders
-
Youth leaders, environmental professionals, and community advocates
-
Mayors, governors, and official climate reps from all cities and nations
Some may question why we’re inviting such a wide array of professionals. But the truth is, these are the very people who will face the brunt of climate chaos first. They are our Climate Warriors, and they deserve support, tools, and a community where they can prepare and lead.
Guarding Our Space, Empowering Our People
Climate Tribe is serious about safety and integrity. If you see unethical behavior or content that goes against our values, we want to know. This community is a shared home, and we’re all responsible for keeping it respectful and focused on solutions.
Financial Support for Those in Crisis
We are building a Climate Emergency Relief Fund—a program that will provide direct help to members affected by severe climate events. As our community grows, so will our capacity to care for one another.
Open to All – $25/Year for the Basic Plan
Membership starts at just $25/year. With this, you get access to curated features (detailed in other blog posts), community tools, educational resources, and much more. We are committed to staying accessible.
Proactive, Not Just Reactive
Yes, we respond to crises. But our deeper mission is to prepare for them—emotionally, mentally, practically. We teach proactive living. We call this Adaptive Resiliency, from the standpoint of both self and collective preservation.
