Try Putting Yourself in My Shoes for a Change!
The usual pattern goes something like this: I courageously speak out about injustice, bullying, and relentless personal attacks, and the authorities instruct me to remain quiet, claiming that my voice only incites further aggression. However, silence is exactly what empowers bullies, and I refuse to grant them that satisfaction.
A few years ago, during a visit with a family member in upstate New York shortly before he passed from COVID around 2022, he shared profound advice with me. He said, “You don’t speak out just for yourself; you speak out for those who are afraid, who feel powerless, and who can’t find their voice.” His words deeply resonated within me, yet it took some time before I fully embraced their significance. This year, however, I took them to heart, recognizing my voice as a beacon of encouragement and support for others suffering silently.
Since 2013, I have endured persistent stalking, unlawful surveillance, constant compromising of my electronic devices, and various malicious actions designed explicitly to strip away my dignity. These invasive behaviors initially took their toll, but through determined personal growth, prayer, and mindfulness, I transformed these adversities into a powerful catalyst for becoming a better, stronger version of myself.
These attacks began because I sought to establish a Climate Change Community Company. My commitment to environmental advocacy and my determination to educate and mobilize others about the climate and ecological crises appear to have made me a target. Despite numerous obstacles and continuous harassment aimed at discouraging my efforts, my resolve remains unbroken. My mission—to raise awareness, foster understanding, and push for meaningful action on climate change—has only grown stronger in the face of intimidation.
Following recent elections, the bullying tactics I had experienced privately started affecting more individuals publicly. The harassment that was once primarily directed at me expanded to target many others, causing widespread fear and intimidation. Observing this alarming trend, I realized the importance of openly confronting these tactics. Thus, I began speaking out even more adamantly, not only for my sake but for the countless others who suffer silently, fearing reprisal or isolation.
Let me clarify: I speak solely for myself, not on behalf of any religious institution or group. Indeed, some within my own faith community disagree with my vocal approach. Yet, I firmly believe that addressing injustice and bullying openly is essential, regardless of differing opinions within my community.
Additionally, I hold no animosity towards any religion, especially Christianity. Many of my close friends and family members are Christians, exemplifying kindness, compassion, and genuine respect for others. Their conduct starkly contrasts with the behaviors exhibited by this group targeting me. True Christianity, as I understand it, embodies empathy, love, and understanding, not harassment, intimidation, and invasion of privacy. After expressing this viewpoint on my website, tito235.com, the attacks intensified, and although I acknowledge concerns raised by authorities for my safety, my conscience compels me to maintain my stance. My written words will remain posted precisely because they represent my convictions.
If authorities continue to suggest silence as a solution, we risk normalizing these harmful behaviors, unintentionally granting aggressors implicit permission to continue their bullying. Imagine enduring intimidation and harassment continuously since 2013—that’s twelve long years of relentless emotional and psychological assault. Only by elevating my life’s condition, maintaining mental clarity, and nurturing inner resilience have I managed not just to survive but also to thrive and grow. I share this publicly to inspire others facing similar situations, empowering them to reclaim their voices and dignity.
Consider the hypocrisy of any religious organization or community engaging in such harmful actions. Imagine a Buddhist, Muslim, or follower of any other faith resorting to illegal surveillance, intimidation, or bullying—it would undoubtedly spark widespread condemnation. Thus, it’s necessary to expose the inconsistency between proclaimed religious values and actual actions when confronted with aggression masquerading under religious identity. Behavior rooted in harassment and intimidation resembles neither a compassionate faith nor genuine spirituality; rather, it aligns closely with tactics of cult-like groups seeking control through fear and oppression.
I stand firmly behind these statements not just for myself but as a clear message to younger generations and vulnerable individuals: bullying and harassment must never become socially acceptable or normalized. To the authorities, I say unequivocally—if expressing my truth places my life in danger or leads to imprisonment, then so be it. My integrity, self-respect, and dedication to justice matter far more to me than silence or compliance born from fear. Should I ultimately face severe consequences for my outspoken nature, I will depart this life without a single regret, knowing I have courageously defended human dignity, fundamental rights, and personal freedoms.
Indeed, the idea that individuals face threats simply because their views or beliefs differ from a dominant group represents the essence of tyranny. Free societies encourage diverse opinions, foster healthy debate, and respect individual freedoms. Those who perpetrate attacks should heed the wisdom of playwright Molière: “Before judging others, take a hard look at yourself first.”
As previously noted on my site (tito235.com), moving forward, my focus will shift away from responding directly to these attacks. Instead, I will concentrate wholeheartedly on crucial matters concerning our shared Climate and Ecological Emergency, as well as collective and personal well-being. Perhaps this decision may offer temporary relief to my attackers, but make no mistake: my voice will remain active, powerful, and persistent in advocating urgent environmental responsibility and social justice.
In closing, we must decisively shift away from purchasing new fossil-fuel-powered vehicles. Our planet demands an immediate transition to electric vehicles, using existing gas-powered vehicles strictly out of necessity—not for illegal spying, harassment, or other unethical activities. Furthermore, we must recognize the myth of carbon capture as a dangerous form of climate denial. Immediate expansion of renewable energy infrastructure is critical, alongside drastic reductions in renewable technology costs to facilitate rapid global adoption.
Why emphasize this? Because the Climate Crisis represents a full-blown Ecological Emergency—far more dire and urgent than many currently acknowledge or choose to believe. Our dependence on fossil fuels and the corrupting influence of fossil fuel corporations within government decision-making processes must be confronted and dismantled.
This perspective, deeply rooted in scientific fact and ethical responsibility, is mine alone. The profound psychological toll I have experienced from persistent bullying has inspired me to establish a new community dedicated explicitly to supporting those affected by intimidation, bullying, and harassment. This platform, Safe Circle Social, will provide emotional support, promote mental wellness, and offer educational resources addressing topics like Artificial Intelligence and self-education, empowering participants toward collective growth, resilience, and compassion.

Tito Alvarez
