What’s Being Celebrated?

In 2025, the Earth Charter celebrates its 25th anniversary, marking 25 years since its formal launch on June 29, 2000. To honor this milestone, a special 3-day gathering titled “Planetary Consciousness, Ethics of Care and Intergenerational Justice” will take place July 1–3, 2025, in the Netherlands. [1][2]

This global gathering will unite activists, educators, policymakers, youth, and visionaries around shared values that continue to shape ethical, peaceful, and sustainable communities worldwide.
