“This Is Not America: Bowie’s 1985 Warning and Today’s Call for Adaptive Resiliency”

✨ This Is Not America: A Song, A Mirror, and My Personal Cry for Humanity

Sometimes a song isn’t just a song—it’s a mirror we didn’t ask for, but desperately need. That’s what This Is Not America by David Bowie has become for me. I’m not sharing it for nostalgia. I’m sharing it because, right now, in the midst of the pain, betrayal, and loss echoing across this nation, it’s the one piece of music that reflects my grief and hope all at once.

“This is not America…”
A line that lands differently today—like a warning and a wake-up call.

I’ve been on a mission for Adaptive Resiliency, from the standpoint of both self and collective preservation, but some days… that mission feels heavier than others. I’m not a politician. I’m not a celebrity. I’m just one human trying to keep the flame of compassion alive.

Coming Soon: A Song from My Heart – “Stop Killing Children”

In the coming days, I’ll be releasing an original music track titled “Stop Killing Children.” It will be freely downloadable, because I want it to be more than just a song. I want it to be a vessel for grief, for protest, for art, and for truth. I hope others will remix it, share it, build visual pieces with it, or play it in spaces where people gather to speak out against violence and inhumanity.

We are witnessing a disturbing normalization:

  • Children killed in war zones.

  • Children shot in schools.

  • Children disappearing at borders.

This track isn’t about politics. It’s about the sacredness of life. It’s a cry from my soul—and maybe yours too.

I Am Grieving — For the Children, For the Migrants, For Our Broken Compass

I feel overwhelming sadness—true, gut-level grief—for what is happening in our name. Our brothers and sisters are being kidnapped, deported, and discarded without due process, without dignity. The rule of law has become selective. Power now overrides principle.

This can’t continue.

Those in office who sanctioned these acts—those who ignored the cries—must one day answer for them. If not in court, then in history. And if not in history, then in spirit. Human dignity is not a partisan issue—it is a universal one.

❤️ Humans Are Precious. We Must Regain Our Humanity.

There’s no other way to say this:
We are unique. Irreplaceable. Humans are precious.

This era has numbed us. We scroll through suffering. We normalize horror. But I say no more.

No more children buried under rubble.
No more migrants lost to silence.
No more lies dressed as leadership.

We must respect and not harm each other anymore.
We must reclaim our humanity—before we forget what it ever meant.

A Quiet but Unshakable Call to All Who Care

If you’re reading this, please don’t just scroll. Act.

  • Share Bowie’s This Is Not America.

  • Speak out against child harm and systemic cruelty.

  • Support platforms like Climate Tribe, which are building safe spaces for healing and transformation.

  • And when “Stop Killing Children” is released—use it. Play it, share it, remix it. Let it be a bridge between silence and action.

We’re not powerless. We’re just grieving. But grief can be a beginning.

LEVEL 4 STRATEGIC ADDENDUM:

From Mourning to Movement – Advanced Strategies for Action

STRATEGY 1: Cultural Memory Activism

Gather and preserve stories—real stories—from those impacted by border trauma, school shootings, and war. Use AI to help narrate these into multimedia formats: zines, mini-docs, podcasts. Make memory sacred again.

  • Tools: Notion, Canva, Descript, ChatGPT narration overlays

STRATEGY 2: AI-Powered Justice Briefs

Build GPT-powered templates that convert incident reports into short legal complaints, ready for submission to oversight bodies, city councils, or international courts.

  • Track due process violations using public data and tools like Wikidata, Civic Signals, and Polis

STRATEGY 3: Resilience Resources for Children

Under the Climate Tribe banner, offer digital self-care toolkits for youth facing trauma. Include expressive journaling, reflective music, mental wellness prompts—and pair them with audio meditations that incorporate tracks like “Stop Killing Children.”

STRATEGY 4: “Remix for Justice” Sound Campaign

Create open-source remix kits of both This Is Not America and Stop Killing Children, encouraging sound designers, DJs, and protest organizers to personalize them.

  • Platforms: Soundtrap, Boomy, Audiobridge

  • Consider embedding AI-generated multilingual subtitles for international protest reach

STRATEGY 5: Human Rights Accountability Tracker

Launch a digital watchdog dashboard that aggregates actions (or inaction) by public officials regarding child harm and due process. Make it community-updated, tied to elections and civic calls to action.

  • Tools: Airtable, GPT-based timelines, and Climate Tribe’s data commons

STRATEGY 6: Global Solidarity Pledge

Anchor your campaign around a global pledge:

“We will not normalize the killing or disappearance of children. We will not let cruelty go unchallenged.”

Publish it through eXit235.com, allow global sign-ons, and embed audio versions in multiple languages. Make this a heartbeat for humanity’s return.

Final Reflection:

David Bowie told us plainly, in 1985:

“This is not America.”

But now, the question is:
What do we want America to become?
And what will you do to make sure it never becomes what we fear most?

With a song, a voice, and a trembling heart—I will not be silent.
Because “Stop Killing Children” isn’t just a track.
It’s my soul speaking.
And I know I’m not alone.
