Lately, it feels as if the Earth is trying to speak to us—softly at first, then louder, and louder still. Some nights, I lie awake hearing that voice in my mind, like a distant alarm growing closer. The nightmares return, the anxiety climbs, and sleep feels like a fading memory. This isn’t because of movies or imagination. It’s because the world around us is changing faster than our minds can process, and every day the signs grow stronger, sharper, and more undeniable.
And yet, in the middle of all this fear, I found something that surprised me. Something hopeful.
I went full Green AI on my computer, and the experience blew me away. It runs smoother than I expected—quieter, lighter, more efficient. So much so that I’ve started training myself to run full Green AI models on Linux and other operating systems, using many different platforms. If you have a fast Windows machine, try it yourself. Download Studio LM and see how it works. And if that one doesn’t run well, there are other apps that do the same thing.
This matters more than people realize. Every tool that brings us closer to independence—every step that frees us from total reliance on the internet—becomes a tiny seed of resilience. A small victory in a world where everything feels unstable.
But technology alone can’t calm a trembling heart.
Because the truth is this:
I’m not afraid for myself.
I’m afraid for everyone around me.
For my elderly neighbors who already struggle on hot days.
For my family and their children, who will inherit whatever world we leave behind.
For the animals already dying in quiet corners where cameras don’t reach.
For the ocean species struggling in waters warming faster than they can adapt.
For our Ecological biodiversity, the great web of life that supports everything—including the air we breathe.
Without it, humanity has no future.
And I wish I could say we’re moving in the right direction. Some countries are improving—China seems to be pushing forward on renewable energy faster than many expected. But other nations, including the United States, still cling to fossil fuels like a lifeline to the past. Money, power, and greed shape decisions that should have been made with compassion and common sense.
We’re watching leaders trade the safety of their people for corporate gain. We’re watching democracy get bruised and battered until it hardly resembles what it once was. When apathy rises in the highest offices, people suffer at the lowest levels.
Yet, in the middle of this darkness, resistance still grows.
Protests continue. Voices rise. People vote for leaders who care, who listen, who refuse to sell their souls for a larger campaign check. We cannot be fooled again. We must learn to look past the shiny speeches and examine the shadows behind them. As one fictional leader once said, “A mask tells you only what someone wants to be. Their history tells you who they really are.”
I recently heard a friend say, “Something’s off. The weather isn’t right.” And they’re correct. Anyone paying attention can feel it now. Warm days when it should be cold, sudden storms followed by strange calm, long dry spells in places that used to be lush. These changes are no longer predictions. They’re here. They’re happening now.
And this is only the beginning—only the opening notes of a storm far bigger than any of us want to imagine.
That’s why community matters more than ever.
So, I’m preparing to open the ClimateChangeCommunity.com and cCcmty.club blogs again. Some posts will be older, but I’ll update them to match today’s reality. And in early Spring 2026, I will launch something I’ve been building for years—Climate Tribe Social (climatetribe.social). It’s a space built around face-to-face dialogue, shared solutions, and real human connection.
I invite you to read the posts, explore the ideas, and be part of this movement. I’ll be updating the landing page for Climate Tribe Social soon, and you can sign up early to become an advanced founder. There’s a section at the bottom of the page called cCc Nudge—join it if you want to be on the waitlist. We do recommend the Basic Plan at $29.99 per year, especially since more plans will be added soon. In total, we’re working on building around ninety spaces—some independent, some grouped into powerful collections of ideas and action.
But please—hear this clearly.
Do not join out of fear.
Do not join because you think this may be your last hope.
Do not join because the world feels like it’s falling apart.
Join because we are learning together.
Join because we are growing together.
Join because we are shaping our own transformation, one conversation at a time.
What matters now is understanding what the Climate and Ecological Emergency means to you personally. Not just in your mind—but in your heart. Think about how you can play a part in healing the world, how you can help protect our children’s future, and how you can be a voice for the species that cannot speak in courtrooms, governments, or news studios.
Humanity is not the only form of life on this planet. And we have no moral right to decide which animals or ocean species deserve to live. They do not stand below us. They stand beside us. They are part of the same world, breathing the same air, drinking the same water, relying on the same fragile balance.
If they fall, we fall with them.
Which is why now—right now—is the moment to step forward.
To grow.
To change.
To become more human, not less.
As I write this, I can almost hear the Earth whispering again. But this time, the voice feels stronger. Not an alarm. More like a plea:
“Choose the path that keeps us alive.”
We are standing at a crossroads with the future staring directly at us. One road leads to destruction we cannot take back. The other points toward renewal, cooperation, and shared Adaptive Resiliency.
We must choose.
We must act.
And we must do it together—before the whisper becomes a scream we can no longer ignore.
