This is a heartfelt update—part personal, part professional.
Let me begin by saying something that’s been true for as long as I can remember:
I love creative self-expression far more than making money. Of course, money is a necessary part of life (for most of us), but creative expression? That’s joy. That’s fuel. That’s been true for me since I was a child.
I’ve always found deep satisfaction in reading quotes, exploring the minds of philosophers, scientists, writers—those who dared to think differently. Lately, I’ve been rediscovering a lot of my old notebooks, journals, and saved thoughts. Some of it is deeply personal, some surprisingly timeless. All of it is feeding a new wave of content creation that I’m excited to finally start sharing.
Back in 2016, I even registered an LLC with the name Creative Expressions WD LLC. “WD” stands for Web Development or Designer, though in hindsight, had the term content creator been as widespread then as it is now, I might have used that instead. Still, the intention was always the same: create, share, and connect.
Here’s where I’ve often stumbled—I write blog posts but rarely publish them. I design quote images but don’t share them as often as I should. I collect magazines, books, articles… but keep them archived instead of engaging with them publicly. That’s changing. Slowly but surely.
I took a self-paced copywriting course years ago—learned a lot, practiced little. But even that is shifting now. I feel a pull to re-engage, to use every skill I’ve picked up over the years in service of expression, clarity, and purpose.
One new passion that surprised me: YouTube.
It aligns perfectly with my love for creative storytelling. I’m still in learning mode—still in my “content creation diapers,” so to speak—but I enjoy the process. And while there’s potential for financial growth through it, I’ve promised myself this: my content will always prioritize expression over income.
Since 2006, I’ve been collecting content related to climate change—books, news articles, papers, you name it. What started as curiosity has become an archive. Admittedly, some of that material is outdated now, but much of it still holds deep insight into how we got here and where we’re headed. I’m ready to start sharing that, too.
With the intersection of climate awareness and my long-standing fascination with the thinkers of the past, I can already feel new projects stirring. That might mean one or two more YouTube channels—focused on historical thinkers, climate education, and global understanding. Channels that go beyond the noise and get to the roots.
And then there’s AI. Like many of you, I’ve been learning non-stop. Every day I ask myself three questions—about history, economics, philosophy, or whatever else intrigues me. I explore them with AI. It’s been humbling and enriching. I plan to share that process too—on video. Stay tuned if you’re curious.
But I also need to say this:
The suffering around us is unbearable at times. And it’s impossible for me to just sit on the sidelines. I spoke about this in one of my YouTube videos—about a conversation I had with a senior woman who had just lost her husband. Her fear about the state of the world was palpable. She told me she rarely leaves her home now. That stuck with me.
It reminded me that it’s not just about information or expression. It’s also about empowerment.
That’s why I’m building more than just channels or platforms. I’m building a new social community, one that prioritizes safety, learning, healing, and financial empowerment—especially for those who are struggling or feeling isolated. It’s a space rooted in compassion, expression, and education.
AI has taught me something profound:
We often limit what we believe we can do. But with the right tools and a sense of mission, we can do ten times more, faster, and with greater clarity. That realization is changing the way I live, work, and create.
So this is both an update and an invitation.
An update on where I’ve been, what I’m building, and what I plan to share.
And an invitation to stay connected—through my YouTube channel(s), my writing, or the communities I’m growing.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for being part of this unfolding journey.
Let’s keep learning, creating, and showing up—for each other and the planet.
